The Wisconsin Badgers added two blue-chip players to their growing class of 2025 this week with commitments from four-star linebacker Mason Posa and four-star wide receiver Eugene Hilton Jr.
Luke Fickell’s class now has 19 players committed and is on the steady rise in the national recruiting rankings.

The Badgers’ 2025 recruiting output (so far) is an impressive response after finishing the 2024 cycle with the nation’s No. 23-ranked group. Fickell is still in the midst of rebuilding the program after its downturn toward the end of the Paul Chryst era. He and his staff are proving that recruiting success, the important first step in any rebuild, is no concern.
As mentioned, Wisconsin’s recent commitments from Posa and Hilton Jr. have pushed the Badgers up the national rankings. Importantly, the commitments have also vaulted them up the Big Ten class of 2025 rankings.

The conference’s additions of USC,UCLA,OregonandWashington obviously added more legitimate on-field competition to every team’s schedule. But the four schools are also now conference foes on the recruiting trail, making it an even tougher landscape in which to stick out.
But Wisconsin is doing just that. It is nearing the top of the conference recruiting rankings after its recent hot streak:
